I rather would recommend a snapshot-program of your system (NortonGhost by Symantec or DriveImage by PowerQuest) to wind it back after the tests or even setting up a dual-boot just for any Trial-version and Shareware-program to test, w/o spoiling your working-configuration. ![]() *** Win-OS (besides of maybe then XP) is not designed, to support any parallel installation properly!! *** These above mentioned Mathcad-tools help to set some/most Registry-keys, but cannot handle and avoid *all* conflicts, esp. ![]() Win-OS is NOT made for that (we will see about Win-XP).Īfter several years of running Mathcad-versions, I second Mona about REGALL.BAT(MC8) and REGTOOLS.EXE(MC2001). Sorry, but I can *NOT* recommend installing two similar versions of a program into the same Windows-configuration! Regardless of Mathcad or other programs.
